Designed specifically for use with shooting heads, the Airflo Impact Oval Mono running line is a slick oval shaped monofilament that is the perfect choice for light trout spey, single and double hand heads. Length: 40yds (37m).

It has the perfect amount of stretch to remove any memory as well as protecting lighter tippets. The oval-shaped low-diameter mono offers very little friction in the rod guides for longer casts and reduced drag. Each spool is loaded with 40 yds of pure casting zing!

We recommend the 45# for all your 6+ weight steelhead spey rods. the 35# for your 3-5 weight trout spey setups, and the 25# for your super light trout spey rods and for building euro nymphing leaders. I once had a 35# mono running line break on me that was only 1 year old when I was just stretching it out, which is why I always recommend going to the 45# in the steelhead world. The 45# also grips better and is still much thinner than traditional running lines.
